While on a a ridge near Skyline Trail of Jasper National Park, a band of bighorn sheep were intent to cross in front of us. This one went first. I readied my camera for an image that would show the remote landscape with this alpha female in the foreground.
Guessing that the camera shutter speed was not going to be fast enough to freeze the motion of the sheep while keeping the background mountains in focus, I made a single exposure. And it's that motion of the sheep that perhaps gives a certain dream-like feeling to this image.
