Curiosity

These bighorn sheep lambs, born a couple of weeks before this picture was taken, seemed to be made of half curiosity and half spunk. This was one of the few moments when they were still enough to get a good image.

I hike to this area every second or third year - always keeping my distance - looking for images of sheep in the landscape. But on this day, their curiosity and my camera met at a close-enough distance to reveal the spirit of these two newly created packages of life.
