These two mountain goats, at remote Snowbird Pass in Mount Robson Provincial Park, are approaching the vast Reef Icefield. The trip to the pass is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Canadian Rockies.
After spotting the goats at the pass, I had to quickly work out a composition that framed them within this sublime setting. Creating the opportunity to compose such images is what keeps me entering the wild year after year.
