Moon Inside the Front Ranges

The moon was looking to quickly disappear behind a massive mountain ridge. For a moment, I thought that I’d lost the opportunity for a photograph.

It took some running along a sideslope to position the moon at the proper spot. Even then, the moon had to be 'led' because it would be on the move while the camera equipment was set up. I wanted the illusion of the moon being held in position by the mountain crevasse.
