The escarpments of Mounts Biddle and Schaffer loom over the entrance to Opabin Basin in Yoho Park. Floating on this part of the small lake are the fallen leaves from the golden subalpine larch trees. There's a good feeling when you've set up the camera equipment and are just waiting for the first rays of sunlight to wash over the landscape. When sunlight does appear, it's time to take off the gloves (and touque) and make some images.
