Humbled is how I felt when first entering this glacially carved side valley. There's something about walking below treeline, where there's no trees, that gives you appreciation for the power of water, whether liquid or solid.
The cool mountain air of evening was starting to flow down from the glacier as I worked to capture the warm light from the mountain reflected in Scott Creek.
