Hikers at Holt Lakes, Purcell Range

The Holt Lakes are tucked in a perched basin below the Dogtooth Mountains of the Purcell Range in B.C. There is no established trail in this area aside from that maintained by the local mountain goat population.
This unique basin and upper Holt Creek have been zoned mostly as non-motorized in the Golden Backcountry Recreation Access Plan, due in part to it's importance for grizzly bears.
